The power plant workshop located in Matarbari, Cox’s Bazar, was suffering from high temperatures and excessive dust. This adverse environment was hindering workers’ efficiency and causing problems in machinery maintenance. SDL Engineering Ltd. sought DIBL’s assistance to resolve this issue. DIBL’s expert team observed the complete situation and proposed installing an automatic fogging cooling system.

DIBL completed the project in April 2022, within just 4 days. This system utilizes a centrifugal pump, high-quality filters, misting foggers, fogging tubes, and high-capacity connectors. It not only reduces temperature but also effectively controls fine dust particles in the air. The project was designed and installed by DIBL’s technical team, led by Agriculturist Md. Riaz Uddin, Regional Manager, Chittagong Branch.

The first step of the installation was setting up a powerful pump. This pump system ensures high-pressure water supply, which is essential to create fine mist from the foggers. A well-organized pump setup ensures a smooth flow of water throughout the entire system.

Members of the DIBL team carefully installed the fogging piping and foggers. These foggers are positioned such that fine, cool mist reaches every corner of the workshop, helping to reduce temperature and suppress dust.
