Through the application of modern technology in agriculture, Drip Irrigation BD Ltd (DIBL) is making agricultural production easier and more profitable in various regions of Bangladesh. One such successful project is the installation of a fogging system mushroom Chattogram in a mushroom shed at Ambagan, Chattogram. Funded by Ak Khan & Co. Ltd and implemented by DIBL, this project has opened new horizons in mushroom cultivation.
Traditionally, maintaining proper humidity in mushroom cultivation is a time-consuming and labor-intensive task. Especially in Bangladesh, due to high temperatures and low humidity, maintaining humidity by manually spraying water in mushroom sheds requires a lot of labor, which is expensive and time-consuming. Additionally, the health and yield of mushrooms can be affected by inadequate spray scheduling. To solve these problems, DIBL took the initiative to install an automatic fogging system.

The DIBL team installed the fogging system in a 2-decimal mushroom shed for Ak Khan & Co. Ltd. This system utilizes a centrifugal pump, reserve tank, filter, and high-efficiency fogger nozzles and tubes. The project was successfully completed on March 20, 2023.
DIBL team members carefully installed the fogger nozzles and tubes inside the shed to ensure uniform humidity distribution throughout. The pump setup was installed robustly and effectively, ensuring the continuous operation of the system.
This automatic fogging system can automatically control the humidity required for mushroom cultivation. It reduces the need for manual spraying, which lowers dependence on labor and saves both time and cost.
